# CareConnects

> CareConnects (careconnects.net) is a free, student-led platform that connects patients in Delhi NCR, India, who cannot afford medical care with volunteer doctors, free check-ups, free or subsidised pharmacies and pathology labs, childhood cancer support resources and government health schemes. It is a connection platform, not an NGO, hospital or emergency service. Doctors listed receive only first-level checks (e.g. email/phone confirmation); patients should verify credentials.

- Cost: the initial check-up is free; tests, medicines or advanced treatment may cost extra
